This section defines the tax rates to be used in the system.
- The percentage is the pecentage of the retail price that is added to make the sales tax component.
- The multiplier is the sales tax percentage expressed as a decimal. For example, 5% has a multiplier of 0.05, 10% sales tax has a multiplier of 0.1, 23% has a multiplier of .23, etc. The system uses this to calculate the amount of sales tax in a final price.
Click "Update"to save any changes to the existing records. Click "New", fill out the fields, then click "Add" to save the new entry. Click "Delete" the follow the prompts to delete an entry.
