The Letters Template section is where you can create pro-forma letters and have the system insert information when you create a letter under the patient's record. People tend to use these for correspondence but you could also use them for medical certificates and other similar documents.
To begin go to Settings, then click Letter Templates on the lefthand menu.
If it is the first time you have created a template there will be none listed in the drop down menu. If you have created some they will be in that list. To edit one select it from the list and click Edit. To delete a template click Delete then select the template you want to delete from the drop down list and then click Remove.
To create a template click New. You will then be taken to this screen. Enter a title then begin typing your letter template. To add a "placeholder" that will insert the relevant patient details select them from the drop down list.
Continue typing until you have finished, then click Save. To exit without saving click Back.
To edit a template click Edit then make the changes you wish, then click Save. To exit without saving click Back.
Note, if you have the invoice image to be included on invoices by default, then it will be included on letters produced as well.
