Send SMS messages

You can either send SMS messages to patients using the appointment options in the diary as outlined here, or using the Send section in the Patient Details area. This section allows you to send an SMS even if the patient does not have a booked appointment.

If the patient doesn't have a mobile number set you will be prompted to enter one before proceeding. Enter your SMS text in the content area or choose one of your SMS templates. SMS templates are set under Settings->SMS Templates.  To send the message click Send.  The message will be charged at the standard SMS rate.
