The patient’s clinical records screen contains a great detail of information, and has been designed to make that information as user friendly as possible. It can be broken down as follows:
1. Top navigation and Patient Name and ID.
2. Active Warnings and Cautions, and Active Diagnoses.
3. The records section on the left half of the page below the navigation. This is divided into:
a. Records entry for entering new records, and
b. Records display for displaying past records.
4. The right half below the navigation contains the macro buttons. Clicking these buttons will enter some text in the field that last had the cursor in it.
When entering clinical records be sure to ensure that you are logged in correctly as the system links the consultation to the person logged into the system at that time. Failure to do this will result in the consultation being recorded under another user’s name, which has medicolegal implications.
